Summary:
This Internal Promotional Opportunity for a Regional Trainer with the Region 2 Child Support Program is an excellent fit for individuals with a strong background in Child Support.
If you enjoy training and providing support to others, this may be the position for you.
Your duties would include:
Maintaining an operational knowledge of Florida's Child Support Program including knowledge of the Program's procedures as they pertain to Child Support.
Conducting and facilitating Child Support training to meet statewide and local training requirements, ensuring proper utilization of standardized course material and job aids, and other approved resources.
Acting as an instructor using effective classroom instruction techniques by use of visual aids, variety in presentation, and responsiveness to class participants, and when teaching individuals.
Working in Microsoft Office using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, the Program's computer system, state systems and the internet to research and evaluate information and to utilize training presentation software.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue At least two years of experience working with the Child Support Program at the level of Revenue Specialist II or above Experience in training, teaching, or instructing individuals Experience utilizing presentation software (i.
e.
PowerPoint) Experience researching information and interpreting procedures PREFERENCES:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in effective communication through a variety of methods (report writing, public speaking, presentations) to a diverse internal and external audience.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience using the Microsoft Office Suite with a proficiency in PowerPoint.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience and a knowledge base in multiple Child Support business processes.
SPECIAL NOTES:
This is a regional position and may be housed in the Silver Springs or Daytona Beach service center.
Standard workday of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
All experience, including examples of implementation, must be documented in detail on the candidate profile/resume.
This role is eligible for telework after you complete required training and reach an acceptable level of proficiency.
Applicants chosen to interview will be required to prepare a training presentation.
Candidates will be provided the details when they are invited for an interview.
Alternative Screening Criteria will be used in lieu of a Skills Verification Test.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
