Coord - Volunteer

This position requires a qualified and responsible individual who will be responsible for planning and supervising delivery of volunteer services and activities for the organization. This person will be responsible for the following:
1. Provides volunteer support to the organization.
2. Maintain accurate documentation of assignments including hours served on a monthly basis.
3. Participate in volunteer training and recognition.
4. Plans and implements recognition and social events that support volunteer retention.
5. Creates and submits periodic reports as required.
6. Assigns volunteers as needed.
7. Reviews volunteer notes for accuracy.
8. Participate in presentations, exhibits and community events as requested.
9. Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
1. Associates Degree is desirable; preferably in the fields of Management, Communication, Human Services, or Health Care.
2. Three years of documented experience and success in the coordination of volunteers and volunteer services may be established for the required degree.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
