AutoCAD/Production Designer

ThemeWorks is a leading provider of themed entertainment fabrication projects throughout the world. We partner with themed entertainment industry designers, developers, and construction firms to create the scenery, props, and exhibits that make themed destinations memorable.
We are currently seeking a Production Designer who will work with project teams (including Project Managers, Production Manager, and Production Staff) to develop technical drawings that will be used in the fabrication of exhibits and scenery. The designer's duties will include: determining proper material and fabrication approaches then producing clear and complete designs that align with budget and time constraints. Other responsibilities may include assisting with conceptual/schematic design, 3-D renderings, and creating web graphics and advertisements.
Preferred qualifications for this position include the following:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, Engineering or related field; or equivalent industry experience.
Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD with a minimum of 1 year working experience.
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with developing fully detailed fabrication or construction drawing packages.
Ability to participate in multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to work additional hours when necessary to meet project deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented and able to produce under tight deadlines.
Must be flexible, self-motivated and goal orientated.
Must be a self-starter who works well in a team.
This is a full time position based in our High Springs, Florida facility.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
