Job Responsibilities Located in High Springs, FL.  The Global Safety & Security Manager is responsible and accountable for global occupational safety, health and security systems within the ALAM business and for local HSES support of the High Springs, FL ALAM facility. The role drives compliance with Safety and Security regulatory requirements and Air Liquide company standards through ownership of the processes, objectives, and operating discipline and management systems in all applicable regions. In addition, the role supports the High Springs, FL site with local application of the processes and objectives, and with ensuring a continued high safety performance culture. Develops, implements and owns globally consistent occupational safety, health and security policies, procedures and management systems to ensure compliance with local and national regulations and Air Liquide standards to minimize workplace hazards and eliminate incidents.. Coordinates site reporting (local or nationally-required reports), field inspections and assessments (including vulnerability) for the continued safety, health and security program enhancement.  Areas to include are, hazard identification / resolution, safe work permitting, life critical permitting, construction safety, basic safety programs, emergency response and Department of Homeland Security compliance. Reviews accident investigations and near miss reports to ensure appropriate root-cause analyses have been conducted and corrective actions implemented and effective. Develops and ensures the delivery of safety and security training curriculum for all employees focused on addressing key opportunities. Captures, shares and uses safety, health and security best practices. Provides specialized global security guidance and support in asset protection, security incident response management, information security, and enterprise risk management. Partners, consults, and advises on all safety, health and security related matters, including providing robust metrics and analytics along with identifying priorities for improvements.  Implements improvements locally and globally based on data analysis. Works closely with HR on managing workers compensation cases, medical surveillance and wellness programs. Collaborates with outside emergency service agencies regarding daily operations and planning to ensure performance to Air Liquide standards and compliance with regulations. Ensures all security systems (CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms systems, etc.) are maintained and functional to current technology Maintain a level of proactive threat intelligence, analyzing information to provide solutions in emergency events, consistent with Air Liquide Zone Security. Evaluates the HSES Impacts of capital projects and assure safety and health risk assessments are completed. Forms effective partnerships with leaders of other organizations and functions to align on shared strategies and goals. Works within the greater corporate entity to leverage improvements and learnings. Makes data based decisions. Is methodical in the analysis. Let's the data lead to a decision. Does not become paralyzed by data analysis. Identifies gaps, determines improvements, implements improvement projects and ensures control plan in place for adoption and sustained utilization. Travels to all Air Liquide Advanced Materials sites.   Works locally to drive the HSES culture and performance in High Springs, FL as that site continues to grow.  Puts into and sees in practice directly the HSES systems and processes the role owns. Drives a culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" Successfully completes all assigned trainings. Required Qualifications Minimum of Bachelor's degree in a Science or Technical based field. 5+ years of experience working with highly hazardous chemicals; toxic, flammable, pyrophoric in a global environment Experience in industrial chemical manufacturing and chemical processing Process safety experience Experience in interpreting global regulatory requirements Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task Self-starter with the ability to perform well under pressure and changing priorities Ability to communicate concisely and effectively in written and verbal formats with stakeholders at multiple levels in the business. Ability to work and travel globally. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 5 years in progressive experience leading safety, security and health programs in a global highly hazardous manufacturing organization Minimum of 10 years of industry experience Global implementation of OSHA VPP, OSHA 18001, behavioral based safety systems (i.e., SafeStart, STOP, performance based leadership) and/or other global safety systems Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist Certified Protection Professional or Physical Security Professional Able to learn technical chemical processes quickly in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Experience working in dynamic environments of short time to market and high customer expectations. Experience working in an empowered organization. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification or equivalent knowledge Methodical data based problem solving and decision making skills Process hazard analysis training; LOPA and HAZOP Root cause investigation training, methodology and experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
